What is the book about?
The book (350 pages) is autobiographical and covers the time from the early 1980s to 2013. It is about Radio Stad Den Haag and Fantasy Radio, about the discotheques the Marathon in the Hague, Bambu in Mantova and Le Mouton in Rijswijk, about record stores Hotsound in Rotterdam, De Platenhoven in Delft and LP Top 100 in The Hague, about I Venti D’Azzurro and ClearSound, about Peter Slaghuis, Lex van Coeverden, Robin Albers and Ben Liebrand and encounters with Italo artists including Brian Ice, Mauro Farina, Scotch and Alan Ross, about Lloret de Mar, Boston and Vääsky, about the hunt for records and the sale of cassette tapes to classmates.
